Life is what you make it. I have come to that conclusion. If
you choose not to do anything in life, don’t get upset over others doing the
I met someone from California who complained that there is nothing to do in Washington. I’ve actually come across a good amount of individuals who think that. To some degree that may be true but how would you know if you don’t venture out into
the city? There is plenty to do if you look around. You’re obviously not tired
enough of your current situation to change it so shut up. Anywhoo, a guy friend
and I talked briefly the other day. Our convo went a lil somethin’ like this:
Me: What have done today?
Me: Why not?
Him: Didn’t feel like it.
Me: Oh. So you’ve been in the house all day?
Me: Doing what?
Me: It’s nice outside you should get some air.
Him: Eh, maybe…I should. You’re right.
Me: Are you actually gonna do it?
Him: Probably not.
Now, I am not just talking about being lazy, which is a good example above. I am also speaking of people who have this whole negative and nonchalant attitude towards life. You only have one so make it the best you possibly can. Take the bull by
the horns and ride it. In school/college? Get the best grades and scholarships
you can. Have a 9-5? Do a great job. Business owner? Run it like a fine tuned
machine. Whatever it is, do it to the best of your capability.
This can also carry over into other aspects of your life too. Be a better
father/mother/son/daughter/brother/sister/friend. There is nothing wrong for
wanting to better your and actually taking steps to achieve that. Anyone who
says different is jealous and a hater because they are not doing what you are.
Actions speak louder than words.
